Tuesday 27th May saw a lucky number of fans making their way to London to attend a special BIA playback event. Guy Fletcher and John Illsley were in attendance to talk about some of their experiences touring the album in the mid-1980s. Guy also discussed the pains-taking process he undertook creating the Dolby Atmos Mix, 2023 Dolby Atmos Mix Instrumentals, 2005 5.1 mix, CD version stereo mix and 1985 vinyl version stereo mix. Those in attendance were treated to playbacks of ‘So Far Away’, ‘Money For Nothing’, ‘Your Latest Trick’ and ‘Why Worry’. Guy has done a sensation job, these tracks have never before been heard with such clarity – amazing. This was followed by a number of tracks from the previously unreleased full-length Live in 85 concert at San Antonio’s Municipal Auditorium. 

There was also a “special guest” at the centre of the event – Mark’s 1937 National 14-fret Style 0. Hard to say which was the most popular, the National or the unique BIA cupcakes !
